Kristine has long been fascinated by the Regency period, the Napoleonic Wars and the life of the Duke of Wellington, having written and lectured on these subjects for many years. She is currently working on her next book, which will focus on the personal lives of Wellington and his A.D.C.s, his "Family," during the three years of the Allied Occupation following the Battle of Waterloo.
Kristine has edited her blog, Number One London, for the past fourteen years along with Regency authors Victoria Hinshaw and Louisa Cornell. Posts cover all aspects of British history from the Georgian era through the 20th century. You can visit the blog and browse our content using the link above.
Kristine also shares her love of British history with others as a guide through her company, Number One London Tours. Each fully escorted, small group tour focuses on a specific aspect of history - 2022 tours include the Country House Tour and The Waterloo Tour, for which Kristine will be joined by battlefield author and guide Gareth Glover. Full details for both tours can be found at the tour link above.
Please use the link above to subscribe to Kristine's newsletter, which contains tour and publishing news. Since she's usually busy writing, traveling or blogging, don't worry about Kristine clogging up your inbox with daily or weekly emails. In fact, you'll be lucky to see a newsletter more often than four or five times a year. Still, it's a great way to stay in touch.
Kristine has been speaking and lecturing at author and history conferences since the 1990's on topics ranging from Regency England to the life and times of the Duke of Wellington to travel within Britain. Kristine currently lives in Florida, but is often in the UK. If you'd like her to speak to your group or association, please use the contact link above.
